Student Council of which 4SB was represented by Andjani and Tyler this semester, has done a wonderful job of organizing a Talent Show for the end of the year. Below are some video's of the acts, no word yet on who came in the top 3 but as you will see the competition was extremely strong. All of the hard work paid off as 4th grade gave 100% to present their projects using the central idea of 'Our bodies are made up of interrelated systems which need to be maintained over time'. Please enjoy the photo's and video. We had a great time taking charge of Health Day. We organized stretching in the morning for everybody, organized and played games with Kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grades. Also we chopped up fruit and delivered healthy snacks to everyone in the Elementary School. Happy Health Day everyone. We are working on body systems for our new unit and today we got to see, feel, probe and finally dissect a real brain. We then wrote about our experimentation and this will be used as part of our mini-exhibition at the end of the unit. The captions on the pictures are real quotes from the kids. In this unit we studied religions. We visited their places of worship and found out their beliefs. It was interesting listening to their beliefs. We got into pairs to take notes so we could create a poster about them and importantly what they had in common. We all worked really hard to pull this together and in the end it turned out good. I think we all enjoyed going to find out about other religions. By CaleBELIEFS & VALUES I really enjoyed this unit about religions because I had fun learning about their beliefs and valves. I also enjoyed going to all the places that people worship and I started thinking that religions should not fight because they believe in some of the same things as each other. It was cool going to the places that they worship and writing in notes and I really liked this unit. By Christina We want the students to understand that people have different values and beliefs.
